VitalSteps Support Services Inc. is a compassionate, community-focused social services organization dedicated to supporting children, youth, and adults experiencing crisis, instability, or major life transitions. Rooted in the values of dignity, respect, and empowerment, we provide safe environments and structured support that help individuals regain stability, build resilience, and move confidently toward a brighter future.

Headquartered in Grande Prairie and serving Northern Alberta, we are committed to meeting the growing need for specialized support services through high-quality, evidence-based and culturally responsive programming.

 

What We Do

At VitalSteps, we deliver a broad range of support services designed to meet individuals wherever they are on their journey. Our programs include daily living assistance, emotional and behavioural support, life-skills development, crisis care, and secure, structured housing options.

We operate a shared residential support home with 24/7 awake staffing, providing round-the-clock supervision, guidance, and safety. This home offers a stable and supportive environment where individuals can heal, grow, and work toward long-term independence.

We also provide transportation support, community integration services, and personalized planning to ensure every person receives the wrap-around care they need.
